Judge Resigns After he's told He Cant't Be A Stand-up Comedian

A New Jersey municipal judge who has been told by the state Supreme Court he cannot be a stand-up comedian in his spare time has resigned from the bench.
Vince Sicari said he had tendered his resignation.
Earlier in the day, the Supreme Court ruled Mr Sicari's acting and comedy career "is
incompatible" with judicial conduct codes.
Appearing as Vince August, the 44-year-old has appeared on network television shows and at New York City comedy clubs.
--> The court noted in its opinion that Mr Sicari's comedy act demeans some people based on religion or national origin and that could cause some to question his impartiality as a judge.
