Chinese Boyfriend Gets So Tired Of Shopping With His Girlfriend, He Jumps To Death In Mall

A Chinese man jumped off a mall balcony to his death because his girlfriend refused to stop shopping.
According to Daily Mail, 38-year-old Tao Hsiao had been escorting his girlfriend around a shopping mall in Xuzhou, east China, for roughly five hours and demanded to go home.
Witnesses say Tao could be heard complaining that they had more bags than they could carry. His
girlfriend, however, insisted they go to one more shop where there was a sale on shoes.
“He told her she already had enough shoes, more shoes that she could wear in a lifetime and it was pointless buying any more,” one witness said.
“She started shouting at him accusing him of being a skinflint and of spoiling Christmas, it was a really heated argument.”
The shouting ended when Tao threw the bags on the floor and jumped over a nearby balcony, smashing into Christmas decorations before hitting the floor seven stories below.
The impact of the fall killed him immediately.
“He actually landed on one of the stalls below and then fell to the floor, so although the store was damaged it meant he didn’t hit anybody,” a mall spokesman said.
“This is a tragic incident, but this time of year can be very stressful for many people.”
